A BILL
To amend the Southwest Forest Health and Wildfire Prevention Act of
2004 to require the establishment of an additional Institute under that
Act.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1.
This Act may be cited as the ``Utah Wildfire Research Institute Act
of 2025''.
SEC. 2.
(a) In General.--
Section 5
(b)
(2) of the Southwest Forest Health and
Wildfire Prevention Act of 2004 (16 U.

(2) of the Southwest Forest Health and

(2) ) is amended--
(1) in subparagraph
(B) , by striking ``and'' at the end;
(2) in subparagraph
(C) , by striking the period at the end
and inserting ``; and''; and
(3) by adding at the end the following:
``
(D) the State of Utah.''.
(b) Conforming Amendment.--
