Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1.
This Act may be cited as the ``Cyber Conspiracy Modernization
Act''.
SEC. 2.
SECTION 1030.
Section 1030
(c) of title 18, United States Code, is amended--
(1) by inserting ``or a conspiracy'' after ``an attempt''
each place it appears; and
(2) in paragraph
(4) --
(A) in subparagraph
(A)
(i) , in the matter preceding
subclause
(I) , by striking ``attempted'' and inserting
``attempt or a conspiracy to commit an'';
(B) in subparagraph
(B)
(i) , by striking
``attempted'' and inserting ``attempt or a conspiracy
to commit an'';
(C) in subparagraph
(E) , by inserting ``, conspires
to cause,'' after ``attempts to cause''; and
