shall have no force or effect.

IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES

Mr. Johnson introduced the following bill; which was read twice and
referred to the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions

A BILL

To provide that the rule relating to ``Short-Term, Limited-Duration
Insurance and Independent, Noncoordinated Excepted Benefits Coverage''
shall have no force or effect.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1.

This Act may be cited as the ``Health Care Freedom and Choice
Act''.
SEC. 2.

The final interagency rule published by the Internal Revenue
Service, the Employee Benefits Security Administration, and the Centers
for Medicare & Medicaid Services relating to ``Short-Term, Limited-
Duration Insurance and Independent, Noncoordinated Excepted Benefits
Coverage'' (89 Fed. Reg. 23338 (April 3, 2024)) shall have no force or
effect.
