A BILL
To amend title 28, United States Code, to restore executive power to
appoint United States attorneys.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1.
This Act may be cited as the ``Restoring Executive Power To Appoint
United States Attorneys Act of 2025''.
SEC. 2.
Section 546 of title, 28, United States Code is amended by striking
subsections
(c) and
(d) and inserting the following:
``
(c) A person appointed as United States attorney under this
section may serve until the qualification of a United States attorney
for such district appointed by the President under
subsections
(c) and
(d) and inserting the following:

section may serve until the qualification of a United States attorney
