Ms. Blunt Rochester (for herself and Mrs. Blackburn) introduced the
following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on
Finance

A BILL

To provide for an extension of funding outreach and assistance for low-
income programs.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1.

This Act may be cited as the ``Senior Savings Protection Act''.
SEC. 2.
PROGRAMS.

(a) State Health Insurance Assistance Programs.--Subsection

(a)

(1)
(B) of
section 119 of the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act of 2008 (42 U.
Providers Act of 2008 (42 U.S.C. 1395b-3 note) is amended--

(1) in clause
(xiii) , by striking ``and'' at the end;

(2) in clause
(xiv) , by striking the period at the end and
inserting ``; and''; and

(3) by adding at the end the following new clause:
``
(xv) for each of fiscal years 2026
through 2030, $15,000,000.''.

(b) Area Agencies on Aging.--Subsection

section 119 is amended-- (1) in clause (xiii) , by striking ``and'' at the end; (2) in clause (xiv) , by striking the period at the end and inserting ``; and''; and (3) by adding at the end the following new clause: `` (xv) for each of fiscal years 2026 through 2030, $15,000,000.
