A BILL
To repeal the changes to Medicaid State provider tax authority and
State directed payments made by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and
provide increased funding for the rural health transformation program.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1.
This Act may be cited as the ``Protect Medicaid and Rural Hospitals
Act''.
SEC. 2.
Section 71115 of the Act titled ``An Act to provide for
reconciliation pursuant to title II of H.

119-21) is repealed and title XIX of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C.
1396 et seq.) shall be applied as if such section and the amendments
made by such section had not been enacted.

SEC. 3.
