A BILL
To promote the use of the Classical Learning Test
(CLT) at military
service academies and Federally-run schools.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1.
This Act may be cited as the ``Promoting Classical Learning Act of
2025''.
SEC. 2.
CLASSICAL LEARNING TEST.
The Secretary of Defense shall ensure that each of the Service
Academies (as that term is defined in

SEC. 3.
THE CLASSICAL LEARNING TEST.
(a) DODEA Schools.--The Director of the Department of Defense
Education Activity shall require schools operated by the Activity to
administer the CLT to students in the eleventh grade.
(b) Tribally Controlled Schools and BIE-Operated Schools.--The
Director of the Bureau of Indian Education shall require schools funded
or operated by the Bureau of Indian Education to administer the CLT to
students in the eleventh grade.
