A BILL
To provide for the conveyance of certain National Forest System land to
the city of Fruit Heights, Utah, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1.
This Act may be cited as the ``Fruit Heights Land Conveyance Act of
2025''.
SEC. 2.
In this Act:
(1) City.--The term ``City'' means the city of Fruit
Heights, Utah.
(2) Map.--The term ``map'' means the map entitled ``Fruit
Heights City US Forest Service Land Conveyance'' and dated
March, 2024.
(3) Secretary.--The term ``Secretary'' means the Secretary
of Agriculture, acting through the Chief of the Forest Service.
SEC. 3.
OF FRUIT HEIGHTS, UTAH.
(a) In General.--Not later than 30 days after the date of the
enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall convey to the City all
right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the property
described in subsection
(b)
(1) .
(b) Description of Property.--
(1) In general.--The property referred to in subsection
(a) is the parcel of real property, including all land and
improvements, generally depicted as ``conveyance area'' on the
map, consisting of approximately 295.89 acres of National
Forest System land located in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National
Forest.
(2) Map.--
(A) Minor errors.--The Secretary may correct minor
errors in the map.
(B) Availability.--A copy of the map shall be on
file and available for public inspection in the
appropriate offices of the Forest Service.
(c) Survey.--
(1) In general.--The exact acreage and legal description of
the covered land may be determined by a survey satisfactory to
the Secretary.
(2) Costs.--The City shall pay the reasonable survey costs
and other administrative costs associated with a survey
conducted under paragraph
(1) .
(d) Terms and Conditions.--The conveyance under subsection
(a) shall be--
(1) subject to valid existing rights;
(2) made without consideration;
(3) made by quitclaim deed;
(4) subject to such other terms and conditions as the
Secretary considers appropriate to protect the interests of the
United States; and
(5) made with a reservation of an easement for the
Bonneville Shoreline Trail.
(e) Use.--As a condition of the conveyance under subsection
(a) ,
the City shall use the covered land only for public purposes.
(f) Reversionary Interest.--If any of the land conveyed under
subsection
(a) is used in a manner inconsistent with subsection
(e) ,
all right, title, and interest in and to the land shall revert to the
Secretary, at the discretion of the Secretary.
