Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,

introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on
Transportation and Infrastructure

A BILL
To amend the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act to modify the Safe
Streets and Roads for All program.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1.
This Act may be cited as the ``Safe Streets for All Reauthorization
and Improvement Act''.
SEC. 2.
Section 24112 of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (23
U.
U.S.C. 402 note) is amended--
(1) in subsection
(c) (2) by striking subparagraph
(B) and
inserting the following:
``
(B) Planning grants.--Of the total amounts made
available to carry out the program for fiscal year 2024
and each fiscal year thereafter, not less than 20
percent shall be awarded to eligible projects described
in subsection
(a)
(3)
(A) .''; and
(2) in subsection
(f)
(1) by inserting ``and $5,000,000,000
for the period of fiscal years 2027 through 2031'' after
``2026''.
<all>
(1) in subsection
(c) (2) by striking subparagraph
(B) and
inserting the following:
``
