A BILL
To amend the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act to lower the
minimum identified student percentage for universal meal service in
high poverty areas to 25 percent, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1.
This Act may be cited as the ``Feed Hungry Kids Act''.
SEC. 2.

(1) in subclause
(II) , by striking ``For'' and inserting

(2) by adding at the end the following:
``
(III) Full implementation after
july 1, 2025.--For each school year
beginning on or after July 1, 2025, the
threshold shall be 25 percent.''.
