A BILL
To amend title 40, United States Code, to require a majority of the
members of the Commission of Fine Arts to be residents of the District
of Columbia.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1.
This Act may be cited as the ``Commission of Fine Arts District of
Columbia Residency Act''.
SEC. 2.
DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA RESIDENTS.
(a) Requirement.--

Section 9101
(b) of title 40, United States Code,
is amended by striking ``appointed by the President, who serve'' and
inserting ``a majority of whom are residents of the District of
Columbia, who shall be appointed by the President to serve''.
