Mr. Kelly of Pennsylvania introduced the following bill; which was
referred to the Committee on Armed Services

A BILL

To advance Thomas B. Hagen on the retired list of the Navy.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1.
ON THE RETIRED LIST.

(a) Advancement.--Captain Thomas B. Hagen, United States Navy

(retired) , is entitled to hold the rank of rear admiral (lower half)
while on the retired list of the Navy.

(b) Additional Benefits Not To Accrue.--The advancement of Thomas
B. Hagen on the retired list of the Navy under subsection

(a) shall not
affect--

(1) the retired pay or other benefits from the United
States to which Thomas B. Hagen would have been entitled based
upon his military service; or

(2) any benefits to which any other person may become
entitled based on such military service.
