following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Financial
Services

A BILL

To amend the Cranston-Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act to
update the eligibility requirements related to metropolitan statistical
area population limits for the Community Development Block Grant
Colonia Set-Aside Program.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1.

This Act may be cited as the ``Ensuring Continued Access to Funding
for Colonias Act''.
SEC. 2.
Section 916 (e) (4) of the Cranston-Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act (42 U.

(e)

(4) of the Cranston-Gonzalez National Affordable
Housing Act (42 U.S.C. 5306 note) is amended by striking ``1,000,000''
and inserting ``2,000,000''.
