A BILL
To amend title 38, United States Code, to prohibit the Secretary of
Veterans Affairs from requiring evidence of a certain dose of radiation
to determine that a veteran is a radiation-exposed veteran, and for
other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1.
This Act may be cited as the ``Providing Radiation Exposed
Servicemembers Undisputed Medical Eligibility Act'' or the ``PRESUME
Act''.
SEC. 2.
RADIATION TO DETERMINE THAT A VETERAN IS A RADIATION-
EXPOSED VETERAN.
EXPOSED VETERAN.
Section 1112
(c) of title 38, United States Code, is amended by
adding at the end the following new paragraph:
``
(5) The Secretary may not require evidence of a certain dose of
radiation to determine that a veteran is a radiation-exposed
veteran.
