A BILL
To repeal sanctions with respect to the Syrian Arab Republic, and for
other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1.
This Act may be cited as the ``Syria Sanctions Relief Act''.
SEC. 2.
(a) Repeal of the Syria Human Rights Accountability Act of 2012.--
(1) In general.--Title VII of the Iran Threat Reduction and
Syria Human Rights Act of 2012 (22 U.S.C. 8791 et seq.) is
repealed.
(2) Conforming amendment.--The table of contents for such
Act is amended by striking the items relating to title VII.
(b) Repeal of the Caesar Syria Civilian Protection Act of 2019.--
Title LXXIV of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year
2020 (Public Law 116-92) is repealed.
