Mr. Schmidt (for himself, Ms. Hageman, and Mr. Biggs of Arizona)
introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on
the Judiciary, and in addition to the Committee on Rules, for a period
to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for
consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the
committee concerned

A BILL

To amend chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, to provide for
additional time for Congress to disapprove of rules.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1.

This Act may be cited as the ``Congressional Review Reform Act of
2025''.
SEC. 2.

Chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, is amended as follows:

(1) In
section 801-- (A) by striking subsection (d) ; and (B) by redesignating subsections (e) through (g) as subsections (d) through (f) , respectively.

section 802-- (A) in subsection (a) , to read as follows: `` (a) For purposes of this section, the term `joint resolution' means only a joint resolution introduced after the report referred to in
