Mrs. Hinson (for herself and Ms. Scholten) introduced the following
bill; which was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce, and
in addition to the Committee on Ways and Means, for a period to be
subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration
of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee
concerned

A BILL

To amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to ensure adequate
coverage of annual wellness visits at rural health clinics under the
Medicare program.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1.

This Act may be cited as the ``RNs for Rural Health Act of 2025''.
SEC. 2.
AT RURAL HEALTH CLINICS UNDER THE MEDICARE PROGRAM.

(a) In General.--
Section 1861 (aa) (1) of the Social Security Act (42 U.

(1) ) is amended--

(1) in subparagraph
(C) , by striking ``and'' at the end;

(2) in subparagraph
(D) , by adding ``and'' at the end; and

(3) by inserting after subparagraph
(D) the following:
``
(E) personalized prevention plan services (as defined in
section 1861 (hhh) (1) ) if furnished by a registered nurse who is licensed to practice nursing in the State in which such services are performed and such services and supplies furnished as an incident to such services as would otherwise be covered if furnished by a physician or as an incident to a physician's service,''.

(b) Effective Date.--The amendments made by subsection
