referred to the Committee on Armed Services

A BILL

To amend title 10, United States Code, to require the Secretary of
Defense to establish and maintain a joint reserve detachment of the
Defense Innovation Unit, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1.

This Act may be cited as the ``Joint Reserve Detachment

(JRD) Formalization Act''.
SEC. 2.
Section 1766 (a) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking ``may establish'' and inserting ``shall establish and maintain''.
