A BILL

Safety Administration to apply the final rule relating to valve
installation and minimum rupture detection standards to Type A gas
gathering lines, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1.
This Act may be cited as the ``Valve Safety Fairness Act of 2025''.
SEC. 2.
The Administrator of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety
Administration shall take such actions as are necessary to apply the
final rule of the Administration, titled ``Pipeline Safety: Requirement
of Valve Installation and Minimum Rupture Detection Standards'' and
published on April 8, 2022 (87 Fed. Reg. 20940), to Type A gas
gathering lines.
