Mr. Balderson (for himself and Mr. Pfluger) introduced the following
bill; which was referred to the Committee on Financial Services

A BILL

To nullify certain interagency guidance related to climate-related
financial risk management for large financial institutions.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1.

The final interagency guidance issued by the Board of Governors of
the Federal Reserve System, the Comptroller of the Currency, and the
Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation titled ``Principles for Climate-
Related Financial Risk Management for Large Financial Institutions''
(published October 24, 2023) shall have no force or effect and such
agencies may not issue any substantially similar guidance.
