Mr. Khanna (for himself, Ms. Tlaib, and Ms. Lee of Pennsylvania)
introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on
Oversight and Government Reform

A BILL

To codify Executive Order 13989 (relating to ethics commitments by
executive branch personnel).

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1.

This Act may be cited as the ``Drain the Swamp Act''.
SEC. 2.

Executive Order 13989 (86 Fed. Reg. 7029; relating to ethics
commitments by executive branch personnel) shall have the force and
effect of law.
